Description
As part of the River Country Chamber of Commerce of Newaygo County's RiverStock Event, this family friendly race is growing every year, a great way to challenge your friends, co-workers, club or group members, or maybe another rival business to race with your team down the river and WIN.
All rafts are homemade and self propelled. Race starts at Henning County Park and ends at New Bridge, located on Bridge Street behind Sand Mold Systems. Grab a lawn chair and watch all the action from Riverside Park. Then take your chair to Brews Bands & BBQ, a fun event immediately following the Raft Race being held at Brooks Park in downtown Newaygo, where we will be announcing the winners at the awards ceremony while you enjoy a cold beverage of your choice, music and food.

Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places, also a special 'People Choice Award' for the raft with the best design.
Register your team before May 15th and get free Raft Race 2014 tee-shirts for everyone on the team; After May 15th all tee-shirts will be $10.00; Raft registration fee is $40.00 per raft.
Sponsorship opportunities are available. This is a great way to promote your business.
