Hometown Family Medical Centers, located in Newaygo, Michigan, is seeking a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) or Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) to join our developing Substance Use Disorder/Intensive Outpatient Program (SUD/IOP).
This position may be performed remotely or in person. Candidates must hold an active Michigan limited license. Services will primarily be provided through telehealth using the Athenahealth electronic medical record system.
Provide individual therapy to clients participating in the SUD/IOP program
Monitor, document, and manage each client’s treatment progress
Collaborate with the clinical team to support coordinated, patient-centered care
Help ensure clients follow physician recommendations related to medication management
Maintain timely and accurate documentation within Athenahealth
Support the development and successful implementation of the SUD/IOP program
Active Michigan LLPC or LLMSW license required
Interest in treating individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Ability to provide compassionate, confidential, and professional care
Experience with telehealth and Athenahealth is helpful but not required
This is an excellent opportunity for a limited-license clinician interested in gaining valuable experience in substance use disorder treatment. The selected candidate may work toward completing an MCBAP CAADC Development Plan while earning an income and developing professionally.
The SUD/IOP program is expected to begin once this position is filled. Initial hours will be based on program needs and will adjust and increase as the clinic’s patient load grows.
