Description
The 1st Annual White River Kayak Race sponsored by the White Cloud Downtown Development Authority takes you down the White River, a small river with a BIG personality! The featured section of the White River is sometimes shallow, has some quick turns, feisty rapids with rocky runs and low hanging limbs. It is best taken by experienced paddlers in maneuverable kayaks.
The run from Raceway Park to Flowing Wells Park usually takes about an hour to an hour and a half depending on water flow leaving plenty of time for dual event participation.
Whether you decide to sign up for the Independent Bank Blue Blaze 10k, 5k Trail Run or the 5k Trail Walk spending time on one of White Clouds many trails during Michigan's fall season is what a Trail Town Celebration in White Cloud is all about.
