Power Lifting Competition

Our 2nd annual Powerlifiting Competition! This competition is a fundraiser for Newaygo High School's athletic department to help them get new equipment. It's a fun, family friendly event where we all come together to lift heavy weight, eat good food and support our community! A powerlifting meet is where athletes come together to see who can lift the most weight in the squat, bench and deadlift in their weight categories. This meet is unsanctioned. Wrist wraps, singlets, belts and knee sleeves are allowed. To register for the competition you can call 231-928-5013. It will be $25 until March 1st and then go up to $30 until the day of. Even if you don't want to lift, come out and support our local school!
