Description
Get a taste of the vast possibilities of working with clay. Learn the fundamental skills needed to throw on the potter's wheel and to hand-build with clay. Throwing basics will be demonstrated and coached by a master potter in classes 1,3, and 5, with studio time set aside for clay practice in classes 2 and 4. Students will be exposed to hand-building techniques such as coil, pinch, and slab methods of working with clay. Advanced Registration is required. Please call 231-924-4022 to register. This class is for ages 16 and older.
