Nonprofit Board Certification Seminar

Are you interested in serving on the board of a local nonprofit organization? What questions should you ask before joining a board? How can your board commitment be the greatest benefit to your community and the best use of your time?

Join us on Wednesday, May 9 from 4-8 p.m. at Fremont Area Community Foundation to learn more about nonprofit board service. This free seminar will offer guidance to those interested in or currently serving on nonprofit boards in Newaygo County. Participants who complete the seminar will receive a certificate from the Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University. Dinner and a handbook with helpful materials will also be provided.
