Description
According to the 2015 County Health Rankings, 33% of Newaygo County adults are obese. Adult obesity leads to heart failure, high blood pressure, diabetes, and is strongly linked to depression, dementia, asthma and cancer. Also, over the long term, obesity increases the cost of health care for everyone.
