Introduction to Henna

Not only will the amazing Karen Chojnacki of I Love Your Face be doing walk-in Henna designs on Saturday, June 12th from noon to 5PM at Katie & Company, but she's going to teach an introduction to henna class at 5PM! For $30, you will learn how to make Henna, how to apply the designs and a bit about the history. The class will be an hour and a half long. Only ten slots available, email us at info@katieandcompanystudio.com with how many people you'd like to sign up or message us on Facebook or Instagram with your email. We will email you an invoice that you must pay within 24 hours to secure your spot.
 

Learn the Ancient Art of Henna:
In this class, you will learn how to make your own all-natural henna by watching a live demonstration. We will practice making the cone that henna paste is used in, and get hands-on personal instruction with your own practice henna. Learn how to hold the cone properly, lines, humps, simple flowers, and how to put them all together into a design. We will also learn a little about the history and traditions of henna along the way.

Included in the class: Henna recipe, Supply list, list of reputable suppliers, practice henna for classwork, worksheets, and henna to take home.
