Description
The Grant City-Wide Yard Sales are always the first Saturday after Labor Day Weekend. Although this event is not formally organized, advertised, or sponsored by any person or group, it still takes place every year and brings several hundred people into the City searching for treasures. Area residents outside of the City limits often hold yard sales on this date because of the large volume of people it draws to Grant.
The Farmer's Market is now open on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Farmers selling fresh fruits and vegetables and dairy products as well as local bakers selling baked goods can set up free of charge on September 12th if they RESERVE a stall by Thursday, September 10th. Reservations are first come first serve. The City of Grant does not allow flea market or yard sales at the Farmer's Market structure.
