Description

“Dawnland” is a full length documentary about the tragic policies the Child Welfare system has had, and still has, on a Native American Indigenous children and families. This free event welcomes mature youth and adults due to its sensitive content. Film is preceded by prayer and Drum to prepare people and place for these sacred, intimate stories shared by Native people who have been affected by the dark historic policies that continue today through cultural bias.
