"Comedian Michael Winslow" at the Dogwood Center

The man of 10,000 voices, Michael Winslow, is coming to the Dogwood! He is best known for his roles in all seven Police Academy films as Larvell Jones. And you have seen him in Spaceballs, Sharknado, and much more. In 2022, Winslow was heavily featured in a videogamedunkey YouTube video entitled Video Game Sound. This video brought Winslow’s work to a broad audience of video game fans. Michael, a master of vocal gymnastics, can imitate over 1000 sound effects using his voice alone. Whether he is recreating the frenzy of Jimi Hendrix playing the guitar, or the roar of a jet plane, his talent is truly remarkable and his versatility admirable and enjoyable for everyone!

Opening for Winslow will be comedian Dan Brown. Since his start in the Ohio’s Funniest Amateur Comedian in Akron in 2010, Dan has become one of the hardest working and determined comedians in the country. Dan combines his real life observations and experiences into a performance that is honest and insightful that all audiences can relate to and laugh at. Dan talks about life from the perspective of a father, family man, relations and laughing through life as a wannabe superhero. Join us for an evening of fun and laughs at the Dogwood!
