Christmas in White Cloud

Description

White Cloud is one of the four season treasures that dot the Mitten and call River Country Newaygo County home.  The recent North Country Scenic Trail Town designation highlights the recreational opportunities that abound in the area.  Holiday time in White Cloud often promises that snowmobilers' as well as cross country skiers and snowshoers' will all get a chance to take advantage of the many available venues for wintertime activity. 

Join the local school children on the afternoon of November 25th as the town's Christmas tree at it's new location tree undergoes a magical transformation from evergreen to Christmas tree.  Sally's restaurant will be supplying hot chocolate as the enthusiastic children put their personal touches on the age-old symbol of the season.  

Join the River Country Chamber of Commerce as we celebrate Christmas in White Cloud with the 1^st Annual Christmas Stroll. Santa will arrive at the White Cloud Commission on Aging to greet compliments of the Bill VanAndel.  Families are encouraged to stroll through local businesses providing activities, specials treats & gifts as Santa is whisked up to the White Cloud Upper Elementary School where he will participate in the Family Health Care Sponsored Santa Story Book giveaway.  

Enjoy a stroll down main street from 4:00 - 6:00 pm for a bit of pre-party fun stopping in local businesses for some goodies & holiday cheer.
