Tuesday, November 29th @ 4PM-7PM Newaygo Veterinary Services P.C. will be hosting Christmas Pet Photo with Santa.

Tuesday, November 29th @ 4PM-7PM Newaygo Veterinary Services P.C. will be hosting Christmas Pet Photo with Santa.
Wednesday, November 30th, @ 9:00 am to 2:00 pm children from Newaygo will journey down the hill from the school to decorate The Tree of Hope. Handmade ornaments are hung on The Tree of Lights while Santa greets the young decorators. The look of wonder and amazement in children’s eyes is priceless.
Thursday, December 1st, is The Season of Hope Charity Auction. The Season of Hope Charity Auction is an elegant evening of great fun and fund raising for the benefit of Newaygo County Prevention of Child Abuse & Neglect and River Country Chamber of Commerce. Many wonderful auction items will be available for you to bid on as well as food and beverages catered by Gala Gourmet. This event is the best way to begin your Holiday Season. The event begins at 6 pm and is held at Loomis Lodge, tickets are $45.00 and are available on line or by calling the Chamber Office at 231-652-3068. This event sold out early last year, so get your tickets early to enjoy the fun.
Friday December 2nd, is the Christmas Walk in Newaygo. This unique hometown experience is like no other with twinkling lights, horse drawn wagon rides, the smell of fresh roasted chestnuts and the sounds of Christmas Carols make this an experience you will not want to miss. Area merchants have special sales and goodies for you while you are checking out the stores. Don’t forget to visit the events at the local churches, they have food and activities for the entire family. So, come and join us at 6 pm for the opening ceremony and then hit the town for all the fun!
Saturday, December 3rd, Ho Ho Ho, it’s The ChoiceOne Bank Saint Nick Kick you know. Ho! Ho! Ho! Ready to GO! The fifth annual St. Nick Kick is a family-friendly, 5K and 10K run, as well as a 1 mile walk for all ages is scheduled for Saturday, December 3rd beginning at 10:00 am at Newaygo High School. Race proceeds go to the benefit of the Newaygo High School Cross Country Team. The annual event now attracts some of the best competitive athletes from around West Michigan and other corners of the state to round out the field. River Country Chamber thanks Choice One Bank as this years Main Event Sponsor as well as several local sponsors for supporting this lively event.
Sunday, December 11th, let the music of Christmas fill your heart with music from The Newaygo Community Christmas Choir. The concert will be performed at the Grant Fine Arts Center at 6 pm and you will be treated to an inspirational evening of Christmas music showcasing the talents of local musicians. You are invited to join the choir by contacting the Director Barb Boss at fogcc@fogcc.com or calling 231-652-6500.
