Business Succession Planning Webinar hosted jointly with the Fremont Area Community Foundation, Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce, Newaygo Economic Development Organization and the River Country Chamber of Commerce. 

Area businesses have identified succession planning as a topic of concern.  This webinar is an opportunity to help these individuals understand the transition planning process and the steps that should be put in place to ensure a smooth transition.  

There are numerous benefits from developing a business transition plan. It provides owners with the roadmap needed to achieve their own goals. It provides a plan for the next generation of company leaders. Transition planning enables owners to increase business value and minimize taxes to preserve more of their wealth.  Even if your exit from the business seems a long way off, it's never too early to start a transition plan.  Join us for an early September 8^th Lunch & Learn Webinar on “Business Transition Planning” presented by the Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

The webinar is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am and conclude at noon at the Stream. Please plan on arriving about 15 minutes early to pick up your lunch.

There will be SBDC, Chamber and Stream staff on hand until 1:00 pm to help answer any questions you may have after the webinar presentation.
