Description

Our Business Resource Luncheon is a series of hour-long lunch & learns designed to equip local small businesses with practical tools, fresh ideas, and meaningful connections. Each session features a new topic led by an experienced presenter, focusing on the real challenges and opportunities that matter most to our business community. Enjoy a locally catered lunch while you learn, engage, and build the skills that help your business thrive.

Discover how to connect, communicate, and collaborate across generations. Today’s workplaces includes four generations. From Baby Boomers to Gen Z. Each with unique experiences, values, and communication styles. This engaging luncheon will explore how these differences shape our organizations and what leaders can do to create stronger, more inclusive teams.

Through real-world insights, interactive discussion, and shared experiences, you’ll gain practical strategies for:

  • Building understanding and respect across generations
  • Improving communication and teamwork
  • Adapting leadership styles to meet diverse expectations
  • Leveraging generational strengths to boost performance

Come enjoy lunch, connect with fellow business and community leaders, and leave with new perspectives on leading in a multigenerational world.

Meet our Presenter:  Jalisa Danhof is the Director of Camp Newaygo, a 100-year-old nonprofit serving families across West Michigan. She leads an organization that bridges five generations at once, from teenage staff to alumni in their 90s. With firsthand experience navigating generational differences in leadership, communication, and workplace culture, Jalisa offers practical insight on how to build connection, accountability, and collaboration across age groups.
