*Due to scheduled Road Construction, this event & all related activities will be held at Shaw Park in Newaygo.

The Amateur Competition

Held on Sunday, September 5th and is for anyone 18 years or older with a signed competition waiver form (available at event site) and isn't a regular competitor. Your own equipment is not required. The Two Man Cross Cut does require a partner. Competition categories are subject to at least two competitors competing; all registered competitors will be entered in a drawing for either a hatchet, a short handled axe or a longhandled axe - Donated by Cronk's Ace Hardware & Lumber Center. Each category winner will receive a Elder's Mid-Michigan Amateur award. Sign up and see if you have what it takes to be the Elder's Mid-Michigan Amateur Competition winner!
$10.00 per event or $25 for all 3 events. Includes an Amateur Lumberjack T-Shirt!
Same Day Registration is available at 9am for this event! Competition begins at 10am.

Professional Lumberjack/jill Competition

Is a two day competition and will be held Saturday, September 4th & Sunday September 5th with the top 6 competitors in each category competing for the top honors on Sunday, September 5th.
$7.00 per event with a maximum out of pocket cost of $63.00 per competitor.
You must provide your own equipment to compete.
