The newly named River Country Raft Race will be held Saturday\, September 5\, 2015.  Races start at 11:00 am at Henning County Park.\n\n \n\nCLICK HERE TO SEE VIDEO OF PAST RACE ENTRIES\n\n\nThe River Country Raft Race is an event that encourages inventive participants to use "backyard engineering" making creative\, homemade\, self-propelled rafts to speed or drift down our nationally recognized course: The beautiful Muskegon River. The 1 1/2 mile long course curves along the shores of Newaygo's Riverside Park\, where friends\, family and interested bystanders gather along the riverbanks and bridges to cheer the teams on to victory!\n\n \n\nPrizes for 1st\, 2nd & 3rd place winners!\n\n$500.00\, $250.00 & $100.00\n \n\nJoin us for a perfect end to the summer season!
